For clarification and for the opportunity to create some nitrogen-rich compost, the Green Dumpsters are strictly for the disposal of grass and leaves. NO branches, limbs, trash, plastic or anything that is NOT grass and leaves should be placed in the Green Dumpsters. The Brown Dumpsters are for household trash. NO construction waste, branches, limbs or anything that is NOT household waste should be placed in the Brown Dumpsters. These items can be taken directly to the dump site (Transfer Station) located just west of Crawford. The City of Crawford contracts with the Solid Waste Agency of Northwest Nebraska (SWANN) for hauling and disposal services. Please contact SWANN at 308-432-4245 for compost requests.
